The I-Unlock website was previously a simple placeholder site with basic information and no graphic content aside from a logo. It was a basic contact point online for Eoin, but the site itself was not mobile responsive and it had not been built with user engagement in mind.
Trade websites such as this one rarely require comprehensively written content. Essentially, a site like this can perform best for the client by displaying great quality graphics and utilising best practice standards for 2015.
The website hosting was also rated average to poor and we also identified many security risks – there was no backup strategy etc in place.

Consumer engagement online has evolved rapidly in the past 3 years. This can not be underestimated, particularly in regards to local search and engagement via mobile devices.
Changes in technology have changed the way we interact and engage both online and offline. We see this particularly with the effect of smartphones.
As a minimum, websites must be mobile optimised. ‘Click to call’ must be enabled and it must be easy for a customer to navigate to the number.
The bottom line is that the huge increase in websites generally also means that to cut through the clutter and get to your audience, your website needs to be fast, relevant and unique.

Google Mobile User Rating 99/100
I-Unlock website scores 99/100 for mobile user experience ( UX). With over 50 % of traffic to the website coming via mobile devices, it was paramount to ensure a high UX score. We were really pleased with this score, and we will revisit this soon to try and achieve the extra point.
Page Speed Optimisation - 87%
I-Unlock website scored an initial 68% ranking for page speed and this is not an acceptable score in our opinion. We have been able to improve this score to 87% and there is further work scheduled to drive this ranking into the 90%+ range in coming weeks.
Page speed optimisation is a critical component of what we do at Web Mogul. Optimisation is an ongoing process and it can take a few weeks to a month to fully optimise a custom built site.
